The Assignment Design the logo for a new event to promote locally sourced food and drink, while establishing a family-friendly look. 

 

The Creative The logo brings the fork and flask into the foreground, but keeps the homegrown feel with farming in the background, and the addition of decorative wheat stalks. Bold outlines help the main elements stand out, while the oval shapes add balance. As a bonus, I created a layered header image to expand upon the the food and drink theme and offer more of the warm color palette for this fall event.
